BeeoGarden

Telling a little about the history of the development of BeeoGarden.

With great satisfaction and pride I share a report with Professor Francisco Costa, PhD, Chief Scientific Officer of BEEOTEC, Brazilian Deeptech Startup, telling a little about the history of the development of BeeoGarden, an innovative and effective foliar fertilizer that induces host plant resistance.

Developed from the natural biotechnological platform Beeocitrix, which uses exclusively 100% natural inputs from Brazilian biodiversity and whose patent has been filed in 47 countries, its results were presented at the 46th Brazilian Congress of Coffee Research, at the invitation of the ProCafé Foundation.

Accordingly, the results of more than 2 years of field tests were confirmed, highlighting:

  • Increased productivity in bags per hectare by more than 30%;
  • Increase in the sieve, grain weight, BRIX, in addition to the quality of the drink (from 85 to 89 points);
  • Blocking the action of frost, increasing resistance to water stress (drought) and reducing rust and brown leaf spot by up to 80%;
  • Addition of gains of more than 40% per hectare (or around US$5.000/ha) for the coffee grower.

BeeoGarden and its benefits, will be available for sale on the market soon, via an already signed industry licensing agreement.

Congratulations to Professor Francisco Costa, PhD, and the BEEOTEC team for contributing to the Brazilian Agriculture, through science and sustainability.
